El Paso Holocaust Museum & Study Center will present its annual Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Days of Remembrance) Commemoration on Sunday, May 1, 2016. The program will begin at 2:00pm and will be held at Congregation B’Nai Zion, 805 Cherry Hill Lane. This moving ceremony memorializes the victims of the Holocaust and honors those who survived. The theme of this year’s ceremony is “Light from Darkness,” and special guest speaker, Professor Asher Matathias of New York, will share his remarkable story of Holocaust survival as a young boy in Greece. There is no charge to attend this event and all are welcome.
