This two day workshop presents the tools for teaching the Holocaust in today’s classroom, with a special emphasis on pedagogy, resource differentiation, visual literacy, and active learning. The focus will be on individual and collective responses to historic events and their relevance today. Personal testimonies, primary sources, and implementation strategies further enhance this in-depth workshop. Classroom resources, lesson plans, and recommended materials included, with sessions on Youth Resistance, Women in the Holocaust, Ghettos & the Final Solution, and more.
